Sister Karolyn Grace of the Immaculate Conception, known by many parishioners in her childhood as Megan Wertner, has written an open letter expressing her gratitude for the support of our prayers and asking for their continuance as she and her sisters relocate to a fully established monastery in Kokomo, Indiana. She will continue in her contemplative life as a Poor Clare but will have a time of formation as she enters the life of this community.

We’re invited to join in prayer with Saint Andrew Parish, Waynesboro.
Holy Hour 1:00-1:45 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 12 North Broad Street, Waynesboro. The rosary will be prayed at 1:30pm.
Life Chain 2:00-3:00pm on the square in Waynesboro.
This is a peaceful and prayerful public witness (not a protest) of pro-life individuals all around our nation who stand for 60 minutes praying for our nation and for an end to abortion. It is a visual statement of solidarity by the Christian community that abortion kills children and that the Church supports the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception until natural death.
Stand with many other Christians to witness to the sanctity of all human life. During both events there are no protest rallies or speeches, just silent witness & prayer. Waynesboro officials are aware of the life chain and have given permission for the event to take place on the sidewalks at both locations. Come, be involved! Stand up for life!
St. Mark and St. Luke Parishioners,
Could you please help out the parish by bringing up the gifts at Mass? Your family can sign up for a particular Mass here:
You will represent the parish, and the entire Church, in returning to God the blessings He has given to us.
It’s a reminder to each of us participating in the Mass to offer all that we have and are to God the Father.
After the 5 pm Mass on Saturday, June 18, please join us as we honor Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. This is an indoor/outdoor event suitable for all ages. Here’s how you and your family can be a part of it:
June 18 is the vigil of the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. (in Latin, Corpus Christi) It is a day designated for us to remember and thank our Lord for the gift of Jesus Himself – body, blood, soul and divinity – in the Blessed Sacrament. Join us as we worship Him as the source and summit of our faith!
