Church Directory Photo Week kicks off Monday, October 13 in the St. Mark Social Hall!

We’ve added extra photography days: October 13–18, with plenty of time slots starting Monday.

Let’s come together and make this directory a beautiful reflection of our church family!

Mass and Confession at St. Mark will take place in the church once again, rather than the social hall.

Coffee and donuts will be provided in the social hall, following 9 am Mass tomorrow morning.

Exciting News! Fr. Augusty has decided that it’s time for a new pictorial church directory. Our dates for photography will be: October 16, 17, & 18 2025.

In person photo sign-ups start after all Masses this weekend!

We need volunteers to help with the sign-up process for our families. Please contact Kathy Horn 717-262-5322 this week to be a part of this special project.

Tickets will be sold before and after Masses starting this weekend (Aug 30/31)!

• $8 for adults,
• $5 for ages 12-5,
• free for ages 4 & under.

The 2025 Parish Picnic is on September 21! More information will be available soon, and volunteer sign-up is now available now!

Order forms are due to be returned by Sunday August 24 2025, so be sure to pick up a form if you haven’t already! The forms are available in the St. Mark social hall, the office, and at St. Luke by the organ.

Just a reminder: Mass at St. Mark during August is still at the usual times but will be held in the Social Hall. Construction in the Sanctuary is expected to be finished in early September and Masses will return to the Church!

Pope Francis has established the World Day of Grandparents and the Elderly to be celebrated every year on the fourth Sunday of July. The choice of the fourth Sunday of July is transparently to connect it, as closely as possible, to the July 26 feast of Saint Joachim and Anne, the parents of Mary and grandparents of Jesus. This link to Jesus’ family tree and to salvation history suggests that everyone’s genealogy and personal prehistory is part of the providential plan of God. Family is priceless, and the role of grandparents is truly one of a kind. With a lifetime of experience and wisdom, they offer guidance, laughter, and love, making them some of  the most treasured members of  any family, and that’s why cherishing time with them is so important.
