Just a reminder: Mass at St. Mark during August is still at the usual times but will be held in the Social Hall. Construction in the Sanctuary is expected to be finished in early September and Masses will return to the Church!

Mass livestreams from St. Mark will resume when Mass returns to the church. In the meantime, if you are looking for a Mass livestream, check out our Diocese’ St. Patrick Cathedral YouTube site:

This weekend we are celebrating our Grandparents!

This Sunday EVEYONE is invited to join us after the 9AM Mass for a family of family breakfast, celebrating our Grandparents! Hope to see you there!

Pope Francis has established the World Day of Grandparents and the Elderly to be celebrated every year on the fourth Sunday of July. The choice of the fourth Sunday of July is transparently to connect it, as closely as possible, to the July 26 feast of Saint Joachim and Anne, the parents of Mary and grandparents of Jesus. This link to Jesus’ family tree and to salvation history suggests that everyone’s genealogy and personal prehistory is part of the providential plan of God. Family is priceless, and the role of grandparents is truly one of a kind. With a lifetime of experience and wisdom, they offer guidance, laughter, and love, making them some of  the most treasured members of  any family, and that’s why cherishing time with them is so important.
